Arrival & Parking
All competitors MUST report to Carlingford Lough Yacht Club, Killowen, Rostrevor, Co Down for registration and race briefing. All vehicles can be left at the registration area and we would ask that as many people as possible car pool for the event.

Registration
Registration will take place at the start location of the event which will be at Carlingford Lough Yacht Club, Killowen, Rostrevor Co. Down. Participants will be issued with their timing chip and number
There will be important welcome and safety briefings for all competitors that will cover safety, the latest weather forecast, logistical considerations and other generally important information.
Registration Time
Kilbroney Challenge – 7.30am – 9.45am
** It is VERY IMPORTANT TO REGISTER ON TIME
Please Note: Nothing is sent to you in the post before the event, everything you require to take part in the event is issued at registration.

Timing System:
We will be using the SportIdent Timing system for this event.
Course Marking:
The course will not be marked and all competitors will be issued with a map with pre marked checkpoints on it. There will also be a pre marked route on this map.
Check Points:
Between the start and finish of the event there will be official checkpoints. At each checkpoint participants MUST “dib” at the location prior to proceeding along the route. Failure to “dib” will result in severe time penalties.
